In its July 2, 2026 release, Maui Health reported that 16 of the planned 31 homes were completed and occupied. It also reported $256,000 in net ticket proceeds from the January 10 Lōkahi benefit concert for Housing for Healthcare.

The initiative supports healthcare professionals serving Maui, including people already on the island and those relocating here. Ask the housing team to confirm the current eligibility requirements for your situation.
Are these homes for rent or for sale?
These are transitional rental homes. They provide a place to live while healthcare professionals work toward longer-term housing.
What is the rent, and is anything available now?
Maui Health’s published project materials describe below-market rental rates. Confirm current pricing, vacancies, included services, and waitlist arrangements directly with Emerald Club Realty.
How do I apply?
Start by contacting the housing team below. They can explain the current application and selection process. This website does not accept formal applications or reserve homes.
Is this part of Emerald Club Realty?
Housing for Healthcare is a Maui Health Foundation initiative with its own identity. Emerald Club Realty manages the properties and supports the initiative as a sponsor. Its general real estate services remain on the Emerald Club Realty website.
Where does my donation go?
The donation button takes you to Maui Health Foundation’s existing donation form designated for Housing for Healthcare. Gifts are handled through that page.
